20 years of advertising. Also the way it works. Goals are defined, the time frame is set. But advertising was yesterday, art is today. Intuitive working is the order of the day. Design is meditation.

The critical approach to socially relevant topics is the starting point. From here. A matter of the heart. The task is quickly defined, a line found. The pictures are created in the head and are briefly written down in text form. A bulging folder grows up, full of ideas, most are discarded, 12 are selected. My number is the twelve!

Implementation begins. Material must be collected. Hundreds of toy cars, thousands of pens. The purest warehouse is created. More gum has to be chewed and prepared. Patience is required.

Patience also when laying and assembling. A bit like puzzles without a template. Step by step the form is created. Directly on the wood, intuitive and without a template. Only later does the colour come into its own. Aesthetics are important! And if the result itself does not please, the whole game starts all over again.

One thing is above all: free design is wonderful. The playful occupation with different materials, forms and colours. Kind of meditation, good for the soul. One goal, one vision, and time is forgotten - all this in perfection.

Finally, what is missing is dialogue. The coronation! Art does not only belong in museum temples. Art comes to the people, inspires, provokes, asks questions, helps to understand and sets impulses for an even better society.

This method of working has not changed in principle when I created my CoreTraits: Developing an idea, shaping it conceptually, discovering and designing material, implementing it with great patience and then inviting it to a dialogue. Satisfaction!
